  • How long does it take to hike Diamond Head?

    Depending on your speed and time spent at the summit admiring the view, the 0.8 mile trail of uneven terrain and steep stairways takes about 1.5-2 hours, roundtrip. Allow enough time by arriving at the park prior to the 4:30 cut-off time for hikers.

  • What's the best way to get to Diamond Head?

    To avoid parking fees and crowds, we recommend guests take a ride on the Waikiki Connection trolley from outside the resort. Transportation on the trolley is complimentary for hotel guests and stops directly at the Diamond Head crater.
